We are a family-owned-and-operated business that has been selling and installing custom blinds and window coverings since 1997. We are dealers for Hunter Douglas as well as some other local manufactures, Canadian Blind Manufacturing and Brite Blinds.
Hang & Shine Custom Blinds was established in 1997 as a mobile ultrasonic blind cleaning service in Delta. As the years progressed this family run business added services by listening to their many happy customers. First came blind repairs, soon followed by custom blind sales. Now with the kids, Hadrian and Trajan adding window cleaning and pressure washing, Hang & Shine Custom Blinds can be your one stop service company.
David was born in Durban, South Africa and moved to Canada when he was 9. He soon called Tsawwassen home, where he lived until 1992. After a time spent back east, he returned to Tsawwassen and established Hang & Shine Custom Blinds. Since 2007 he has called South Surrey home where he and his wife Pauline (with some help from the kids) continue to operate Hang & Shine Custom Blinds.
Local company Hang & Shine Custom Blinds is celebrating its 25th anniversary April 2022. Hang & Shine Custom Blinds is a family owned business founded by David Blane in Tsawwassen in 1997. Hang & Shine Custom Blinds was first established as a mobile ultrasonic blind cleaning service in Delta, offering on- site blind cleaning.
As well, a Hunter Douglas dealer, Hang & Shine Custom Blinds sells and installs quality locally manufactured custom window coverings . Unique designs of windows or height has never been a deterrent for Hang & Shine Custom Blinds – they can solve any issue with a custom design and perfect fit.
As the years progressed, Blane and his wife Pauline, added services by listening to their many happy customers. Offering blind repairs, retractable screen doors, window cleaning and pressure washing has made Hang & Shine Custom Blinds your full service company.
Blane stays current by attending product knowledge and training seminars regularly. The blind industry is moving towards cordless technology for safety issues as well as motorization and home integration.
